What is the Day Book?
The Day Book shows all financial transactions in chronological order for a selected period. It's a quick way to see everything that happened — sales, purchases, payments, receipts, expenses, and journal entries — in one place.
Using the Day Book
To view the day book:
- 1Go to Reports > Day Book from the sidebar
- 2Select the date or date range
- 3Filter by transaction type if needed (sales, purchases, payments, etc.)
- 4Click on any entry to view the full transaction details
Tip:The Day Book is useful for daily reconciliation — compare it with your physical cash register or bank statements at the end of each day.
