Services

What Are Services?

Services are non-stock items like consulting, delivery charges, installation fees, or maintenance contracts. Unlike products, services don't track inventory quantities. They appear alongside products when creating invoices and can have their own GST rates and SAC codes.

Adding a Service

To create a service item:

1. 1Go to Inventory > Services from the sidebar
2. 2Click 'Add Service'
3. 3Enter the service name and description
4. 4Set the selling price
5. 5Select the applicable GST rate
6. 6Enter the SAC code for GST classification
7. 7Click 'Save'

Using Services in Invoices

When creating an invoice, sale order, or POS transaction, you can add both products and services as line items. Services are identified with a distinct badge so you can easily differentiate them from inventory products.
