Default Units
ZentBill comes with common units pre-configured: Pcs (Pieces), Kg (Kilograms), Ltr (Litres), Mtr (Metres), Box, Doz (Dozen), and more. These are used when adding products and appear on invoices.
Creating Custom Units
If you need a unit that isn't available, you can create your own:
- 1Go to Inventory > Units from the sidebar
- 2Click 'Add Unit'
- 3Enter the unit name (e.g., 'Carton') and abbreviation (e.g., 'Ctn')
- 4Click 'Save'
Tip:Consistent unit naming helps with accurate reporting. Choose abbreviations your team will recognize.
